1. Platform Use Agreement

By using Cars Around Me, you agree to search, browse, and contact dealerships for vehicle purchases. This platform is a marketplace connecting buyers with trusted dealerships. All transactions are conducted directly between you and the dealership.

2. Account Registration

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining confidentiality of your password
• Monitoring account activity
• Keeping contact information current
• Reporting unauthorized access immediately

3. Search & Listing Information

While we strive to provide accurate vehicle information, listings are created by dealerships. Cars Around Me does not verify vehicle condition, history, title status, or compliance with vehicle disclosure laws. We recommend:

• Requesting detailed vehicle history reports
• Conducting independent pre-purchase inspections
• Verifying title and ownership status
• Confirming all representations with the dealership

4. Communication with Dealerships

When contacting dealerships through Cars Around Me:

• Communicate professionally and respectfully
• Provide accurate contact information
• Respond promptly to dealership inquiries
• Do not attempt to bypass the platform to avoid fees or terms

5. Buyer Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

• Verifying all vehicle information independently
• Understanding your state's vehicle purchase laws
• Arranging financing or having funds available
• Obtaining necessary insurance before purchasing
• Conducting title and background checks if needed

6. Transaction Terms

All vehicle purchases are negotiated and completed directly with the dealership. Cars Around Me:

• Is not a party to purchase agreements
• Does not hold funds or guarantee transactions
• Is not responsible for sale completion or disputes
• Cannot enforce payment or delivery terms

7. Dispute Resolution

Disputes regarding vehicle condition, pricing, or dealership conduct should be resolved directly with the dealership. Cars Around Me can mediate communication but cannot force resolution or refunds. For unresolved disputes, contact your state's consumer protection agency or file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.

8. Prohibited Activities

Buyers may not:

• Post false or misleading information
• Harass or threaten dealership staff
• Engage in fraudulent activity
• Use the platform for commercial purposes without authorization
• Attempt unauthorized access or data scraping

9. Favorites & Saved Searches

Favorites and saved searches are provided as convenience features. Cars Around Me does not guarantee availability of vehicles or dealership participation. Dealerships may remove listings or close accounts at any time.

10. Limitation of Liability

Cars Around Me provides the platform "AS-IS" with no warranties, express or implied. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, we are not liable for:

• Vehicle condition, defects, or mechanical issues
• Inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading listing information
• Failed transactions, fraud, or dealership misconduct
• Loss of funds, deposits, or financial damages
• Personal injury or property damage related to vehicles
• Data breaches, unauthorized access, or security issues
• Platform downtime, errors, or loss of data
• Third-party actions, including dealership behavior

IN NO EVENT SHALL CARS AROUND ME BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM OR ANY VEHICLE PURCHASE.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Cars Around Me, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including attorney fees) arising from: (a) your use of the platform; (b) your vehicle purchase or transaction with a dealership; (c) your violation of these terms; or (d) your violation of any third-party rights.

11. State Disclosures

Cars Around Me complies with state vehicle disclosure laws. However, responsibility for lemon law compliance, warranty disclaimers, and vehicle history disclosure rests with the dealership. Review all dealership disclosures carefully before purchasing.

12. Amendments

Cars Around Me reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Your continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
